I want to build up my legs. Which will build up my legs better/quicker?? Both look the same, other than the fact one you let the weight hang infront of you, and the other rests on your trapezius...

Do both, and add in leg press. You are talking about straight leg deadlifts right? Plain deadlifts are for the lower back. Also get in some calf raises and there you have a good leg workout.

I've read your other posts, and I think I finally got what idea you're trying to get across:
Deadlifts will work your legs somewhat, but the best all around and above all leg blaster is the squats. To you, they may look similiar, but they require quite different functions from your body: think of the deadlift as a PULLING motion, while the squat is a PUSHING motion, and you'll see what I mean.
