I just finished my first 8 week program on freetrainers and found it to be good, but thought it lacked intensity with only 3 different exercises per muscle group. I'm looking for feedback on the "Special 12 week mass & Strength" program. I trashed my body for 46 years and have been lifting since last april (2001). It's better, but I have a long way to go. I would appreciate any comments that can be supplied regarding this program.

Jrowray, do what I'm doing...go to ft Exercise Resources on your main menu, then choose Muscle Targeting, then choose a specific muscle group. In there you'll find many, many exercises for each of the major muscle groups. If you want to add some more intensity, add a few more of these exercises and you'll notice a big difference. I'm about 1/2 way through my 8 week program but have been adding other exercises to keep me motivated and challenged.

Good luck!

I did the Mass Program. I thought the same thing. Some days I did lots of ab/glute work out my work out since I had the time. I did see results. I added about 4 pds muscle(female) so I was pleased. I am now back to higher volume work outs which I like because I am leaning out with more volume.

I have been working out for 22 years, and I believe this program is the safest and most informative free program available. If general excercise is not what you want, they have more intense workouts listed. Don't forget, at 46 your muscle recovery will not be as quick as at 21.

I am into my 7th week of the 12 week mass program and am loving it. They gradually work you into a heavy routine that really drains you. I have lifted for about 4 years now and this is the best gains I have made in such little time. I am also feeling soreness in muscles i have never felt before. Thanks FT

Good question Robert. I will see if I can snap some this week and post them by the weekend. My goal is an even 200 as of right now I am 187, at about 5 10.
