i worked out real hard this thursday- to the point i could barely move the next couple days. i got very little sleep the next two days- about 5 hours during the night, and i normally need like 9 or 10 to function properly. i am not going to work out for the next week- but due to this loss of sleep, will my muscles grow at all? i am going to try to get a lot more tonight and the rest of the week- but is this lack of sleep and intense workout bad for my muscles? I want them to get bigger. if i sleep properly for the next week- will they grow normally?

If you don't sleep properly it will take longer for your muscles to recover, hence you will ache for longer and feel drained etc.

Also working out to the point you can barely move isn't a great idea, if you check out FT's plans there really isn't a lot in there for each day but it works great.

Your body can only handle so much, especially if it's not getting the proper amount of sleep, rest and nutrition.

Yes to all of the above but with the proper sleep the next few nights you should be fine! Good luck!
