Is it bad to take a shower after an hour's workout?

I always shower after working out - I would stink to bad otherwise. As for been bad, when I train regularly I sometime notice my skin dries out, and I use to have long hair and that got dry as well. I find cooling down for half an hour then showering minimises this, I have not heard of any other problems though.

A shower is great after you work out, what a great way to wind down, cool off and relax. Not to mention if it was a good workout, don't cha think ya need one!!!!!!!

I think it is a "must" to shower immediatley after ever good work-out. One of the best ways to help them ripped muscles begin to recover.

Firstly for hygene I'd say it's best to take a shower after your workout. If you want to burn some extra calories, believe it or not the shower is the place. Why? Because if you can lower the water temeperature gradually untill you are cold, your body will burn calories trying to keep you warm.

Lol yes and if you take a nice warm and long shower and massage your muscles with the heat and water pression you'll help your muscles recover a lot faster!

Eeeeew. I wouldn't want to even be in the same room as anyone who DIDN'T shower after their workout...
There's nothing I like better than a quick soak in the jacuzzi at the gym or a sauna after a hard workout, then a nice warm shower.
I also find I get quite dry skin so I slap on the moisturiser on face and body afterwards.

I highly suggest and endorse a post workout shower if for no other reason than not feeling disgusting.
