My girlfriend wants to lose weight, but she gets easily "de-motivated". She goes to the gym infrequently and often strays from her diet. She's a beautiful girl, she just needs to lose a few pounds and tone up a little.
Any suggestions on how I can keep her motivated, without pissing her off??

Do you workout together?
Does she enjoy playing any sports - you can lose weight and tone up outside of the gym. Rollerblade with her, go for bike rides, play volleyball, swim, anything that is fun and adventurous.
On the other hand, maybe she doesn't really feel that she needs to lose wieght, and you need to accept that. You can't make people change.
If she isn't fitnes-minded and you are, maybe it is time to re-evaluate your priorities and find a woman with the same interests.
I am not trying to break you up, I am just trying to look at all the aspects of this.

does SHE need to lose weight, or do YOU think she needs to loose weight?
IF your going out, then you must like her as her, not what you want her to be. She not clay to be molded into what you like.

Thanks asimmer for your helpful advice...this is not a major issue...just trying to find some ideas to help her out.
To everyone else...
I would appreciate no moral judgements regarding this topic...she approached me about it.I never mentioned it or brought it up.
Helpful advice is always appreciated!
