Well, I had the surgery ten days ago. It was very painful and I won't be allowed to move it for 6 weeks. The therapist says my range of motion is great and probably is because of previous weight training. See, it does pay off. The doc and therapist did give me a green light for abs and leg workouts. Asimmer your advice was right on. My energy level is down thanks to the pain killers. I am only using them before therapy but they still have a profound effect. Wolf, I slid off the diet for a few days because I felt like crap and didn't eat much. I have cut back on calories a bit and gotten back in the saddle now though.

Hey Charlie, hope you have a good recovery. It will get better.. surgereries can really put our bodies out of whack.

Hang in there charlie, you'll be back to normal sooner than you think. Do what you can and don't sweat the rest.
