1.)I recentley broke my tibia (ankle) and had surgery resulting in a cast for roughly a month. Before the accident i had worked mostly on my legs and now since i stopped will i lose all my leg muscles? If so is it going to be easier to get them back after im healed?

2.) Now that i am in a cast i cant really workout, do you guys have any suggestions or ideas on how i can still keep fit a little? For example, i might start to do sit ups with my legs straight or some type of sit up, So do you guys have any suggestions?
This is greatly appreciated thanks!!

Yes you'll loose some strength during the month that you cannot work out. When finish you just have to start slowly working your legs again and then everything will come back fast, so don't worry (eat your proteins and glutamine for faster recovery).

You can work the whole upper body and what about swimming?!! You don't have those special water proof bags where you can protect your leg?

All the best luck to you.

I would make sure your carbs are in moderation, but keep up your protein intake to maintain your muscle.

Yes qualters gave you the right answer; keep up the good proteins but watch your carb and fat intake and you'll be okey.
