i usually do a lot of pushups, pullups, and HIIT to improve my body....but now i realize that i'm gonna have to do more than pushups to see some more muscle gain.....so i finally purchase the Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein and I want to get that Celltech Creatine....my ultimate goal is to have like a thick swimmers body, i just need to pack on a little bit more mass.......my question is if i start to do the creatine while still doing my HIIT cardio (i do it three times a week), will it interfere with my goal of getting bigger....can i still do my run and use the creatine at the same time or am i just defeating the purpose of using creatine? Help!:(

Cardio will hinder, though not prevent, mass gain. You can do cardio and take creatine at the same time, without any problems.
Celltech's a waste of money. Get plain creatine and some dextrose.

You need to resistance train to take full advantage of creatine. Creatine will do very little for the look you want(more muscular) without resistance trainng.
The creatine at this point would be pretty much a waste of money.

bbfit...yeah i finally realized that i have to start using weights in order to get the results i want, but if i start doing the resistance training while doing creatine...but at the same time continue doing the HIIT cardio, will I still be able to gain muscle and lose the fat while using the creatine? I did the FT search on this topic but i couldn't find one that addressed my situation.

If you want to gain mass, gain mass, if you want to get cut get cut ..period. You can't do both descide what you wanna do and your goals. But in this instance you can't have your cake and eat it too. To gain muscle mass you have to have extra calories to "make" muscle. If you wann loose body fat, its the exact opposite, you have to take in less calories than you burn.

ok.....so basically....
if i want to gain mass, then eat alot of protein rich foods, take my creatine, take my protein shakes, resistance train and NO CARDIO!
when i feel i have enough mass on my body, then in order to get cut, then i start doing cardio again
is that correct?
I know these questions are irritating to the veterans of this board, but i just want to make sure i do everything correctly, i don't wanna put in all the effort if i'm doing things the wrong way:)

Eating alot of protein will not insure muscle gain. You need the proper ratio of carbs to allow the protein to do its job. Carbs are protein sparing. Protein without carbs will probably keep you lean but will not produce much mass. It will have to be used for glycogen replenishment and necessary bodily needs before any will ever be used for muscle building. The body is very smart, and will use whatever macro is available to reach its needs for survival. It does not care about building muscle, survival is the priority.

how about doing the resistance training first, so you "used" all the creatine and then do the cardio work-out?
