i just ran from my first floor to the second floor and back down again for 10 minutes i had my heart rate up to 160 beats per minute. it was eight tenths of a mile would you consider this a good cardio work out

jnellie, this is a great cardio work out. I think you should extend it for 10 more min. to get the best benefit. I can imagine this would be tuff to keep up for 20 min.. Better have some good music going to keep me interested! OR use it as a warm up to you weight training. That would be excellent!

i did as you suggested i extended it for 10 more minutes and put on some pink floyd. i thought i was going to die after 20 minutes of running up and down the stairs. thanks again Itroisi..........my best..............
