I've always wondered, and have always wanted to ask, but kept forgetting to:
Say I warm up for five-10 minutes, work out with weights for about 35 minutes (no breaks--kind of a circuit training thing, but with more sets), core exercises on a mat for about 5, and then stretching on a mat for about 15.
When should I have my protein shake...within 20 minutes of finishing weights, or core exercises, or stretching?
Thanks for your input...

Isn't it protein immediately after you finish your work out? Then 20 minutes later creatine? That's what I got from here.

Anyone else?

Do your protein shake as close to immediately upon finishing your workout as you can.
Forget the sugar pre workout. Dextrose 5 min. before your workout is a waste and not advisable.
Just eat a good solid high protein/complex carb meal an hour or so pre training.
