I know there was recently a post about how long foods take to leave your stomach, but how quickly are different sugars absorbed and available for a workout?
I'd prefer to eat fruit or drink milk prior to a workout but I don't how long it takes for fructose or lactose to be available as fuel for a workout compared with glucose/dextrose etc.
tried fitbuddy but couldn't come up with the answer
princesslodgey - fruit is going to pick you up and drop you fairly quickly.
