I have been working out in gyms on/off for most of my life.
I just tured 39 and have recently found myself very serious about getting lean & fit.
I'm trying to lose about 25 pounds and increase my muscle definition.

My question is: What can I do besides the gym?
What should I eat before a work out(myoplex)?
What should I eat after a work out?
What about creatine?

There are so many products out there, I don't know what works and what doesn't....HELP.

If you have time, there are many good energy foods you can eat prior to training. Oats are one, peanut butter on whole grain bread is another. What time of day do you train? And if you are trying to lose, you may want to opt for an MRP, or even train on an empty stomach, and have a good MRP or even just a good meal immediately following. If you take aminos during training in this case, it will preserve your muscle mass you now have while you are working out to lean out. Creatine is up to you. If you have been training for years as you say, then you are probably at your peak strength now, and creatine would be a good boost for you normally. But trying to loose 25 lbs., I would wait till I got there or at least happy till I started using it. Hope this helps....
