Hi everyone!
Can someone please explain to me the difference between body fat percentage decrease and weight loss. My current body fat percentage is 25 and my goal is 19. I do weights 4 times a week and cardio 5 times a week for about 40 mins, yet I find it much easier for my weight to go down..but my body fat percentage remains pretty consistant. I weigh 115lbs and i am 5'2" and I am eating about 1250 calories per day. My protein intake is about 60g. Should I increase my protein intake and incorporate some HITT in my cardio? Help!:(
well if your body fat % is stayin the same but your weight is goin down that would mean your losing muscle i believe which wouldnt make sense since its not something that is so easily shed/gain (its real easy to lose but not in such a short time). i believe you could also be weighing yourself with a varying amount of water/food in your body. try weighing yourself in the morning after you have gone to the bathroom b/c and before food or drink because your body will have finished digesting. i believe this is considered your "true weight". anyone agree/disagree?

and yes you should increase your protein. the best is around 1g per lb of body weight. and hiit is always a welcome addition...
i do weigh myself in the morning and check my body fat on the scale. i will up my protein. what do you think about also incorporating L-glutamine? if yes, how much should i take?
