They might as well of said he pressed 3000 pounds. Neither is believable. When Dan Kendra from Florida State pressed the record of 1335(which they had to modify the machine to hold) the capillaries in his eyes burst. Pat Robertson pressing 2000 isn't even close to believable.-------------- Days go by and life drags on..... |

interesting...I remember a couple years ago seeing a guy press 1200 at the local gym...guess I didn't apreciate it at the time.

did you watch the video of him doing 1000? Then again...that wasn't really a legpress...it was more like a glorified calf raise...

It's impressive when someone can do 1000's of pounds, but it's really quite stupid. Squats are so much better. I seen the vid of 1000...he barly unlocked his legs AND had his hand on his quads. I'll find the link and post it for you guys to laugh at...

Finally saw the video on tv today...hilarious to see the least...his legs looked tiny and limp.....
he started with like 500 and built to 1000....doing quarter reps? to make matters worse he had his hands on his quads/knees literally pushing his legs with his hands especially as the weight got higher....on 1000 it was rediculous how much he was assisting himself with his hands/armsto do those 1/4 reps.... They then showed a picture of him doing 1 rep of 2000...they said it was 8-10 rom...but I highly doubt it....maybe he barely budged it... he then admitted on his show that if anyone who works out consistantly knows it wasnt 'good form'....good call Pat... His doctor friend on the show said he made Pat leg press so heavy to help him strengthen his Knees....simply brilliant.... this was truly some of the worst form/rom I have ever seen... | |
