how much is to much.i've got a bubby at the gym we train in the mornings 3 day split for about a 1 1/2 hour.mostly doing heavy weights low reps.then i go in the evenings 4 day split for about 1 1/2 again doing lower weihts more reps is this to much?i must say i don't feal like it's to much i do get a bit tired by friday but then i have a relaxing weekend and i'll be good to go on monday agian.

Your recovery ability should let you know. If you are for instance weaker in the next workout from the prior, then chances are you are overtraining...you have not fully recovered. Other telltale signs are irritability, sleeplesness, etc. In the beginning, it is usually balls to the wall, and the body hums along. But as you progress, this "adrenaline" starts to wane, and it gets difficult to maintain too much of a workout. So lesson to be learned, don't start something you cannot finish/keep up with. :)

so it comes dowen to listening to your boddy.i think i sould be fine with the way i'm going now.i don't have any problems going from session to the next.

Right now, may be good. But heed my advice if you are a beginner, don't do a workout regimine you cannot keep up with. It at some point becomes a "job", and is very difficult to mentally do if you begin with too much.
