I was on the treadmill for no more than 2minutes and i was panting like a dog.i almost lost my morale when i look around and people are sweating running and i am already panting when i just started. how do i get to that point, when i cant even sustain 2 minutes.

This is very common NICETY. It's just a stamina thing. You have to be able to keep getting back on it over and over, believe me, the day will come when you will be that person you speak of. I remember when I first started working out and then added some cardio I was amazed at how pathetic I seemed to be at the cardio part of it. As time went by though it all changed. It won't take forever either. You should notice improvement fairly quickly, just stick with it. You'll do just fine. Good luck and welcome to T!!!

Mojo_67 is absolutely right. My husband is in fairly good shape, but doesn't work out regularily. He just started back to the gym 3 weeks ago and on the first day he couldn't do more than 5min on the elliptical at the lowest setting. He's now up to level 5 and is doing 30min. He just slowly increased the time and level over the 3 weeks. It's just a shock to your system at first...hang in there!!

Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.
