Does anyone know how healthy these are. My college sells them, they have the smoothies and the bars, are the bars good meal replacements??

Good question. I've always wondered about the Odwalla smoothies too, but have never read the nut. info. I'll be curious to see the answer to this one.

Nothing more than a hyped up product. They do well with marketing since thew company was bought by Coca Cola for 181 million.
The bars contain 16 grams of protein and other good ingredients. Better than eating a Snickers or other bar! Good in an emergency if you can't get real food.

What's the sugar content? If it is high then it's not good for meal replacement. Most of the meal replacement bars that I have seen are high in sugar to make them taste good. Without the sugar it's like eating a chaulky tootsie roll.

20 grams of sugar in each bar

I wouldn't make them a habit, try to get in some real food. If you're in a pinch like Carivan said they're better than not eating. But there are better choices that you can make.

Yeah, you would be better off packing a tuna sandwich. or a turkey sandwich. Or even a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
