Hi Everyone!
I am having a dilemma that seems to be pretty popular. I am having trouble meeting my nutritional goals. I am 5'2" and weigh 115lbs. I want to loose body fat and tone up. Right now my daily intake consists of 1250 calories 125g of protein, 49g of fat, and 78g of carbs.I am ok in the protein department, but have a hard time getting enough fats and too many carbs. Do people know of a nutrition software that could help plan my meals...I've looked into a few and they are either too expensive or not very user-friendly.Do most people get the hang of this by trial and error? I just wish I could figure out what combinations would get me to my nutritional goals:(

freespirit...don't worry about spending money on these. You can either use this site or www.fitday.com to track your diet for a while. Otherwise it will probably take you a few days to get used to entering this information and making sure it's accurate.

Otherwise it doesn't sound like you need to lose much weight at 5'2" and 115. Might look at starting a weight training program, you can get that here as well. Weight training will decrease body fat % as well as give you a nice shape...along with this you might not see the weight go down but your clothes will fit better.

You'll get more people responding if you fill out your profile with stats, goals, expectations. Good luck and welcome to FT.

You consider 78g of carbs to be too much?
