I know that I have been losing, my pants are falling off and I can tell my legs are thinner. However, the scale has not budged. I know this means I am losing inches however, should it be showing on the scale soon? Just checking.

If you have been gaining muscle even while losing fat the scale may stay the same or even go up. Just be happy with the lost inches.

I was told by someone very wise, "Stop weighing yourself....Go by how you look and feel."
And since I followed that, I have had a lot easier time sticking to my plan!

yeah throw out the scale buy a clothing measureing tape (like 1$) and measure you waist as you say the inches are falling off, what is happening is that muscle weighs more than fat so you are replacing the fat which takes up more room with muscle....exactly what you want to do.....

I started with 130 lbs 3 weeks ago, my goal was to lose 5 lbs. but... I gained 5 more lbs, but I look much better get into my pants better... someone on the list told me that "muscle ways much more than fat, you might not see a lower weight"... i guess when you think about how much space would 1 lbs of cotton will take and then how much space 1lbs of iron would take that kind of explains the dilemma :) so, you can never be friends with that scale again, just like I can't :)
