I am always so tired. I can't make it through a day without taking a nap for at least an hour, and I still go to bed about 2100. I thought working out was supposed to give me energy, but I am still so tired.

Do you take enough vitamines? Enough iron? You drink enough?
What's your diet?

I know that you are young so maybe it's just your body who needs more rest for the moment.

Please tell us more.

Can't tell if you're a male or female. If female, as Nina hinted, maybe you have an iron deficiency. In either case, it could be a lot of things. You'll have to tell us more about yourself before we can even begin to provide some sound advice...

i think it is about your diet. how much of carbs, protein, and fats did u take. the more carbs u take, u will fell more energetic. try 3g per pound of bodyweight. rememebr to cycle your carb intake. if not, ur scale will go off the chart

I'm constantly tired also, but it's going away the more I workout.

I sometimes get tired in the evening, but just if I'm sitting around. Oh, and if I eat a big dinner and don't eat later in the evening. But lately I'm waking up early without an alarm clock. Last night I went to bed at 1:30 and got up at 6, not tired at all.... I think these workouts are doing me good.

Getting tired physically gives you a better quality of sleep and you'll then be able to recover better.

Hmmmm...... that's just what we all know: sport is goooood for you!!!!!

I discovered that eating was a big part of my problem.

Why cains? Because of the carbs? the fat? or just not enough vitamines?

All of the above. When I first started here I was doing a definition and weight loss program. I was eating less than 1000 cals a day, only about 50 grams of protein, and about 60 carbs. Very, very low diet. I lost weight, but when I switched to mass I fatigued within minutes. I basically figure that by working out for 8 weeks on the diet I had I drained my body of all nutrients. I am now eating the suggested amount (hoping I don't gain all the weight back) and I have alot more energy. Too much because my insomnia is back..

Hello,

I've been working out vigorously for 2 years, but gradually I've gained the wieght back adn don't seem to feel like working out. My muscales often ache because I work in the morning doing medium to heavy lifting of boxes. I am not sure how to get energy again. Please give me a really simple answer. My diet isn't great at the moment, but whatever is the right "diet" I'm not on it. I can't afford to experient, pleae guide me the right direction.
