Is this a good supplement or is it no better than drinking milk before bed?

Proteins are needed before bed time. Milk is just a lot of carbs (great for bulking!) and you need more than that.

I think this is just a casein-based protein blend that is supposed to help you prevent catabolism while you sleep. You can just substitute with cottage cheese, milk (as you suggested), etc. There was an old post on this under the Supplements forum.

Yeah and why spend 90 dollars for a 30 day supply. WHEW!!!!!!! Just some good old milk should do.
