The AVS have a good goalie, not to mention some other players!
Wouldn't that be a series, MTL vs AVS.

Finished to late for me to watch the end due to the time diff.
What I saw was great.

I guess Mtl has to change things, and win the next one.

Whoever comes out of this Avs/Wild series will be too banged up and tired to make much more headway in the playoffs. Probably the most hotly contested of the first round series'.

But Ron, The teams are all getting banged up and bruised. Our Captain (Koivu 11) might even be playing tomorrow with a fractured foot!

Tim, if they don't start scoring, it will be made very possible.

Mid Series Predictions:

Sens are done...never had a chance with such bad play down the stretch and 3 key players out.
Calgary might pull off the upset,
Avs will take that series
Philly will take out The Washington Ovechins
Dallas will take out Anahiem
Montreal will beat Boston, but won't take the conference...
Rangers to beat NJ
Detroit over nashville...

I like that! Especially " The Washington Ovechins" Flyers new how to shut him down, and Huet is not consistant.

Not to make excuses, but its been released today Spezza had a grade one MCL sprain, Stillman a grade 2 MCL sprain, Alfie a grade 3 MCL tear, and no Fisher, who is the heart of that team...so yes the pens swept them, but it may have been a different story with a healthy lineup.

None the less, they are out, and will be back next year with some new faces, I think Emery is gone, so is Redden that's for sure, Some other's I wouldn't mind see gone, Stillman and Commodore are UFA's although both have expressed interest in talking contracts to return.

Can't wait to see what Murray does in the offseason to retool this team....

Well I know Emery and Spezza are close friends, but I don't think Spezza will be gone....

Yah Boston took another one, 5-1 was a surprise, Price broke right down. I think Mntrl will get it done next game, but if they don't..look out its wide open in game 7

Crosby played with a broken foot last year against Ottawa and they lost to Ottawa 4-1. kind of a reversal of fates. not to mention that Ottawa struggled down the stretch anyway losing 33 out of there last 54 games.Their players weren't all hurt then + the coaching situation. i just heard that they released emery. There defense wasn't real good ethire 4 GAA is not to good in the playoffs. Im sure they will be better next year though players heal up and stuff. They will meet up with the penguins in Stockholm for the start of the season next year so we'll see!
Detroit Nashville tonight wonder if Detroit will blow it.

Yah some interesting series going, Boston came back strong, shaking up the Habs, and Calgary forcing a 7th, I knew that one would be close, but thought Mntrl would put Boston away before letting this get to 7, and giving them a chance at taking this.

Mtl Bos game 7 wouldn't it be terrible for Montreal to blow it after sweeping the season series. I hope the Flames win game seven vs. the sharks. Seems like forever since ive watched a penguin game ready for round two.

Unfortunately the people who take part in these actions are not hockey fans.
These are People looking for an excuse to party, get drunk/stoned, and turn into hoodlums and a-holes and cause damage.
I have never yet seen a hockey fan go to a game with a crowbar in hand, molitoff cocktail etc in their hand, never even a beer bottle. These idiots started the mess while the game was still on.
My heart goes out to the Montreal Police Department and of course the Montreal Canadians.

Now back to the game....

I would love to see Mtl and Flyers!

The Caps and Flyers game was good. Too bad for the penalty. But, now it's Montreal and Flyers! We beat them 4 games-0 in the season! But again, that means nothing.
