I'm bored to death with my routine. I want to join a gym for the variety but no one will join with me and I don't have a car so it's kinda difficult. I was thinking about maybe just buying more equipment for my home gym, but I'm not sure what to buy. Here is my routine...

Legs- Squat/lunges and deadlift variations...
Chest- Bench, flies
Biceps- Bar curl, hammer curls/dumbbell curls
Shoulders- bar military press etc.

The problem is that these are the core movements and I'm bored to death of them. The bench press I don't mind. All leg exercises I hate. I don't even work my forearms. I was thinking that maybe some machines would peak my interest again because they offer variation (such as machine squats- whatever they're called, forearm exercises etc.) I think these type of machines are expensive though.

Can anyone recommend to me either some exciting new equipment or new exercises that are impactful?

I have no idea what plyometrics is. I'll do a search.

I have dumbbells, and use them for the lunges, flies etc.
