Hello everyone Im new to the site and am in need of your help.I am a 30 year old man,370 pounds.I am a diabetic, insulin dependant. I was a body builder until 1998 when i was struck by a truck while walking home,I have problems with my back and left ankle that keep me from walking long distances.
I want to lose 170lbs,I am 6' 2" tall and believe 200lbs would be an ideal weight. I also would like to gain some of my old physique back.
Here are my problems- i have lost motivation and have the added health problems but I also am the cook in the house so if anyone has some recipes for meals that would benefit weight loss let me know.
Thank you

You must, and I stress must look to diet above and beyond all else right now. Forget physique, your goal is to get healthy. And this begins with weight loss of any kind at your current level. Trust me, with good diet you will lose most all fat at this point, as you certainly have an abundance to lose. Don't take this wrong, it is not meant harmful. Once you start to drop some weight, and you feel better, working out will be much more an option for you. This is not to say working out is not on the table now, just losing weight is your first option in any form you can.
