I don't get it. I began weight training around July or so and I packed on a lot of weight. About 26 lbs to be exact. I started dieting around christmas and lost about 15 lbs of fat or so, and now I am trying to gain some weight again. The one thing I have noticed, is that my strength hasn't really gone up at all in anything. My bench was last week 115 lbs for 6 reps and squat 125 lbs for about the same amt of reps. My deadlift is 145 lbs. I weigh 134 lbs right now and I am 5'6". My diet is extremely good, I get lots of lean protein throughout the day, but make sure to throw in some good carb sources too, i.e. macaroni potatoes etc. I eat lots of beef, chicken, tuna, whey protein and protein bars. I also eat many fish. My diet is in check and I eat enough calories, whats up with the gains? I have been lifting really heavy too recently but my strength never really went up or anything... what's wrong.

I am gonna try some daily undulating periodization. A lot of the time I just go into the gym and just try to do whatever I can as heavy as I can, I figure if I just do three full body workouts a week and just increase the weight every workout on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I will be seeing a lot more gains.

vary your carbs...potatoes,pasta, ...are fairly high glycemic and get you to crash too fast....try Yams, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, buckwheat, brown/black/wild rice,...
also make sure to get enough healthy fats.....nuts, seeds, if u eat pasta, vegetables, etc dress them with olive oil, etc..
u might be overtraining..,so may want to take a week off....
also try to vary your workouts....
