Ok my plan is kind of way different from everyone elses.... I'm a hardgainer and have a really high metabolism so I don't know EXACTLY where my 1 lb per week number lays but I make sure to eat 6 meals a day and never get hungry... eat foods high in protein etc and am working with free weights training one muscle group per week... my question is that once I get big enough... I don't even know how I would be able to go on a weight loss diet without overdoing since I dont know the exact number but I guess by the time I get to that point that I am 20-30 lbs lean muscle mass heavier, the 10-13% fat that I have would already be gone or in the process of going, right?

i may be wrong, but 1 muscle group a week probabally wont work, without ample time for the muscle to recover it simply won't get stronger.
most muscle groups shouldn't be exercised more than once, maybe twice a week. this way the muscle will have the time needed to recover. you are basically tearing down a muscle every time that you work it out. a muscle gets stronger while healing, not while being worked.

uhhh... the freetrainers gave me the workout to workout the muscle group once per week... i am a hardgainer and according to many other people on this site i am sure they would agree with me that not only is that ample amount of resting time, but it is ideal for my body type....

my mistake, but in your original post you said, "working with free weights training one muscle group per week... "
i took it to mean you worked only that one muscle all week, then did another muscle group the next...
