Female and new to this site, so not sure if I am posting in the right area but...
I've always had big calf muscles. Not because of excercise but due to genetics. I hate it, because of it I am reluctant to wear shorts and I feel like a guy. I Jog for 15minutes non-stop every morning and do various other types of excercise...but my calves don't budge!!!
I don't understand your logic, why would jogging give you smaller calf muscles... if anything they would make them bigger. You can't get rid of genetically large muscles, the only way you could do it was to severely starve your body to the point where it would eat the muscle. Even then, eating food would just rebuild your calves back to where they were. That's why mesomorphs gain muscle so easily, a lot of their muscles just grow due to gaining weight. I hate to say but you're stick with your calves. I would just build the rest of your body and then your calves would fit in quite nicely.
