Heh yep I've been there steeveed. My parents aren't heavy, yet I got horribly out of shape and was carrying about 50lbs of excess fat. They would "hint" to me often that I should work out a bit. Well, in my own time, and for my own reasons, I did. I've lost that 50 lbs and now my mom harrasses me about starving myself! Which I'm not of course, I'm just eating better foods. It's very typical. I had to really sit down with my mom and explain a bit about nutrition before she'd finally stop bugging me. heheh good luck!

Ya, i'm also greek and when i weighed 190 my mom was concerned that i was way to skinny. I was laughing to say the least. Especially since i still had love handles and a fat stomach. I weigh 200 now. They're so funny sometimes :P

Man, my parents are the complete opposite. Well, basically just my mom. I'm Chinese by the way. When I got up to 170 my mom told me I needed to lose weight. I'm like what the hell, I'm 6'1" and skinny. Now I'm 183 and I still tell her I weigh 170. It gets annoying especially since I still live with my parents.

I'm glad I am the son of Italian parents. They kept me very well fed, and at the same time, made sure I stayed very active. And I attribute the foundation of my body's powerlifting ability to them.
