Ok, I have been taking a lot of protein in every day and been going to the gym the past 2 weeks doing a full workout based on muscle tone etc (so 3 max sets at 8-12 reps, but I don't start the 3 sets until next week, I am doing like a step ladder thing 1st week is 1 set 2nd is 2 and 3rd and 4th are 3 then you find out new 1RM and find out 60% of that and that is what you train with), but I have noticed no jump in weight really. If I am eating enough to sustain my weight which apparently I am, how long is it going to take to see some weight gain in lean muscle?

I'm not really doing the post workout shake or going the route of Creatine so.... :-/ I don't know if I have gained a lb or two or not but I don't look like I have on the scale or anything like that.

Why do you need the 3-1 carb to protein ratio and why should you be drinking a gallon of water a day? What is fully hydrated etc?
