Ok, something I really don't understand is that even though a lot of these statements of the larger the muscle the stronger the person, I don't really get those. I mean ever since I was a little thing, I always had an abnormally large bicep but every arm wrestling match I ever had I lost. Any explanations :-/

theres alot more to strength than size.. is every big guy strong as an ox? is the guy with the 18" bicep who never works out going to be stronger than the guy with the 16" bicep who is a trained athlete?
in terms of your arm wrestling, you're overlooking the wrist, forearm, shoulder, etc. simply having a big arm does not mean you are a born arm wrestling champ, theres alot of technique and training that goes into becoming successful. menace had a post recently that he lost to a friend who was quite noticeably smaller than him.. and physically weaker.

Bropie is right. Just because you have a large bicep or a larger muscle doesnt mean that you are actually stronger.. strength and muscle sized are indirectly connected but not totally... you can have small muscles and you might be strogner than someone much bigger than you

you know what big biceps are for? defense....in armwrestling at least...if you're at that point...then you're likely not in a good shape to begin with....palm size, wrist size/strength, forarm strength, lats, triceps....all play a bigger role...above all however...technique is key....
strength is correlated with size but it's not a perfect relationship...

case in point......i'm about 30 -40lbs heavier than menace....however ever lift......except maybe for squat he has me beat in..........however if we go by body weight per lb lifted......he's still a head on me...
