Im still getting confused about the term....gaining muscle mass=bulkiness?

and whats the difference between that and "lean" mass?

lean tissue is actual muscle tissue. Muscle mass is the acquisition of an abundance of lean tissue. Bulkiness, on the other hand is just the act of growing bigger in any way, whether it be muscle, fat, or combination of both.

It’s also worth mentioning it’s easier to make gains bulking, notice most power lifters are well heavy. To put muscle on and not fat takes a very precise balance of intake to expenditure, and even then its slower going then if you ate more. I spent all last year losing fat, but not growing that much muscle (what I did gain was lean muscle). I am now going through a bulking cycle, before losing the fat again for the summer. I have gained 8kg in 2weeks (a lot of that’s water from the Creatine) but I can clearly see the difference in both what I lift and how I look. I will then strip down these gains to lean muscle. I find cycling like this I get bigger faster than just gaining lean mass, but my appearance varies a lot over the cycle.

Its also worth mentioning that I hope you gained enough muscle to make it worth your while "bulking" up. I played this game for quite a long time, and for starters, it is not quite as easy as you would think to drop the fat, and for the muscle gained, I have a sneaking suspicion you will find in the end that it is not much more than you would have gained had you stayed lean and gained lean muscle slowly. You are correct, you surely get stronger, but most of that is also stripped away when you lean down. And the bulking and losing is not exactly the most healthful thing for your body either. If you haven't done this before, just making you aware. I have done this many times, so my experience. Besides, it is much easier to lose 5-10% bf as compared to 20-30%. Good luck.

I take ZMA tech and glutamine now....i remember reading one of those two is an antica---- someting but it means that prevents burning your muscle for energy. instead it will either burn carbs or fat for ur stored energy...

anticatabolic....glutamine. ZMA is usually taken at bedtime. L-glutamine is usually taken pre and post workout.
