I've read that beginners are the only ones who can add muscle and burn fat simultaeously, i.e. effectively bulking and cutting at the same time.

Let's say i do cardio in the mroning, and a good amount of weight training including calisthetics maybe in the evening, and intake a load of protein. You're telling me the increased workload won't shock my body into muscle growth as it would with a a beginner?

no...if you're dieting with consistancy....meaning you're cutting calories consistantly for a prolonged period(lets say you cutt 500 calories...and keep it up for a month)....you will not make muscle/strength gains....you may lose more fat than muscle...so that your muscles are more visible...but neverthless....if you're experienced lifter your strength/muscles should decrease....

I mean...unless your nutrition is horrible...and then you magicly cut calories while cleaning up your diet...you might be able to see some results....however even then that will work only for a short time...but I mean if your nutrition is healthy to begin with...I highly doubt it...

Menace again is spot on here. After newbie stage, it gets very difficult to simultaneously add muscle and burn fat. The reason being, each takes a different diet type. To add muscle, you need a surplus of calories. This will inevitably lead to a bit of fat gain, though you can minimize it with clean diet and some cardio(within reason).

To tap your fat stores, you need a caloric deficit, which means less calories than maintenance. With this caloric intake you cannot expect to add muscle, as your intake of food will not allow for it, but with proper ratios(high protein of course), you can maintain most muscle mass while tapping your fat stores.

The discrepancy I don't understand is why newbies can accomplish it? If their bodies are reacting to an increased workload, i don't see why the same thing wouldn't continue to work... Also, i don't understand how you can build a six pack while dieting. If cutting calories inhibits muscle growth, then I should just wait until I'm finished cutting to start my ab workouts? Note- I'm aware that cutting will show abs and that everyone has abs, but in order to define them you need to work them. I'm cutting now, so seeing that I shouldn't be abl;e to add muscle, does that pertain to abs as well?

Doesn't anyone see the discrepancy? Why do newbies build so easily? How can is it that we develop our abs but no other muscles during a cutting phase? Also, is it then true that if I do 2-3 exercises for chest as I usually do, but instead do 3-4 exercises, there will be no differing effect other than calorie burning?
