I cant stay motivated on days that i only work legs. Ithink like most people and always want to focus on chest and arms, but i want big legs too. Ive always been a big guy so my legs have always been very muscular. Like today is my leg day and i havent thought about what time im going yet, other days im already done?? anyways just though id throught this out.

A good way to get yourself into legs training is to think that your legs are small, and never think they are big enough..consider peoples' comments critical rather than complementary.. so if someone says to you that you have huge muscles, have that picture in your mind of the big and huge guy, but with bird legs.. even if this isn't true.. day by day, you'll realise that you are killing your legs every workout and you will get more mentally into legs training. try it, there is nothing to lose. I agree that leg days are the most tiresome and un exciting, but I have a trick that really helps me and I hope will work for you. I just think of all the people my age working on their legs and it motivates me because I want to be the best. It worries me in a way and makes me train harder and harder so as not to fall behind anyone else....

Legs used to be the worst for me. I hated leg days. So much effort for legs.. I didn't get it. Then my legs began to respond.. and bang! I loved trainin them. Everytime I go I get excited! I think leg day divided the men or women with the babies..

Find a couple good pictures of Tom Platz and post 'em up where you can see them all the time. Make that your goal!
In case you haven't seen Tom Platz, his legs look like 2 giant redwood stumps with incredible definition. I don't think these's any other way to describe him.

ahh I remember good old leg day.. Not quite the same now that I've got a partial MCL tear.. Nothing could compare to the feeling you'd get after some heavy squatting

They're all good tips, and as for Tom Platz I agree that he has nice legs, but have you seen Ronnie Coleman's Ham & Glute combo? Have you checked out Tom in the latest MuscleMag? What I do for motivation is simply think of my legs as my arms. If you can curl 60 pounds w/ your arm, why can't you curl 80 pounds with your ham? Think of it this way and you'll really get a view of how weak your legs are if you don't train them properly. You should be able to leg curl what you can extend (the same weight that is). Never forget those important HAMS; they're the bicep of your lower body.
