Welcome to ft!

The answer to your question is cardio, diet and resistance training.

Good luck to you!

It will take time, your abs are probably the hardest to tone. Try the FT ab program, people have gotten great results off that as well.

And don't forget your diet. Abs are made in the kitchen.

Hmmm it's actually a little bit unfair HOW MUCH the diet will determine your body shape...... I mean we all work like lunatics in the gym, sweating our way to the toughest and hardest work out just to find out that we still cannot let ourselves eat that huge pizza or ice cream without consuming too many calories and bad fat.....

It all goes together like a big harmony. That's why you shouldn't look at it as a diet but a life style.
It's your choice, but when you first get to it you'll feel happier than ever.

I totally agree with Philia. People ask me all the time what diet I have been using and I tell them I don't really diet. I just changed my lifestyle and the way I eat. I still have my candy.......cause I'm addicted.....but I eat really healthy meals throughout the day and I do monitor the candy I do it. I know watch more for the carbs and the protein more than anything else.

alissab, I myself have had two kids as well, and through reading all throughout this site, and putting myself into action,in as little as 4 weeks now, my stomach is half the size it was. It is not easy. If you want it, you can have it, but you have to work for it. And to maintain it, will be the hardest part until you accept the fact of living healthy and working at it permently. I have seen many beautiful in shape women on, and off t.v. that have had children, and do not look as though they did. We too have that capability. It just may be a little harder, but you can do it. And we are here to help you.

Nice letter soxy.

As I said, it's your own choice, nobody else can take it for you.
