I'm practicing Martial Arts. I've been told that weight training ruins your "sensativity" and should be avoided when doing martial arts. Yet I've heard other reports saying it's all good. I'm doing the general program at freetrainers.com and it feels really good and I'm noticing results in how I look and feel. I'd like to hear your opinions about martial arts and weights...
Right on, Michael! I did some weight training when I practiced Hapkido. It helped to strengthen my legs and arms. Continue with a lot of stretching to increase your flexibility and you'll look good doing a vertical side kick with a very defined and muscular physique! Just look at Jean Claude Van Damme!
