lower back workouts bad for your spine?

hey i dont know if i should continue doing my lower back workouts beacuse i heard it bad for your spine .....

I got lower back pains but if I stopped working my spine, things would be worse!
Look at your body as a whole and every part of it needs to be strengthen! :dumbbell:

I have had several visits to the Chiropractor over the years. Each one has told me that most back pain and back injuries are caused by WEAK muscles. Each one encouraged me to begin a regular fitness program for conditioning and strengthening. Any good Chiropractor won't let you leave his office without a worksheet showing lower and upper body strengthening techniques.

Nto to say that a strong back cannot be injured. Just as with ANY exersise, proper safe technique is required. Keeping the back in proper alignment and not "jerking" your weights will help prevent acute injury.
