Hi all...

I've gotta say low volume training sounds appealing if it gets results.

This is my source: http://www.exrx.net/WeightTraining/LowVolumeTraining.html

to quote: "Many scientific studies demonstrate one set is almost effective as multiple sets, if not just as effective in strength and muscle hypertrophy (Starkey, Pollock, et. al. 1996)."

expert commentary sought :) Thanks.

I cycle it. The same article or study I think that came from also states something like you only lose 5% hypertrophy by completely eliminating the 3rd set of a fixed rep lift.

Check out periodization. I built good bulk when I was doing low volume, but I almost got injured twice...there's the caveat. ;)
