And also, how do I get rid of these love handles? LOL. I love working out my abs, but I have no idea how to work these spare tires away.

There is no way to work away those love handles. No spot reduction. The only thing is exercise coupled with proper diet. Stressing diet. Fat will come off from wherever. Your body has no way of knowing you want it to come off the "love handles".

bb1fit is right.. you can't really spot reduce them I know a few who have had them for so long now that they are now considering a surgical solution ?! I think a good diet, cardio & exercises which target the side ab area like side crunches should help

The torso twist is somewhat helpful. I find that toning your back and sides works.. Maybe evening jogging may help.. Just need to watch your fat intake..

jogging is supposed to be the best natural aerobic activity one can do. I think it is very importatn to a weight loss plan. It can burn a lot of calories. Also some gyms have a cross country ski machine that I find really great. Can feel a good burn after 15min. :) Or if you have snow, you could possibly do the real thing. Gym machines for the xcountry skiing are low resistance which might be more benneficial then jogging if you have bad joints etc.

Problem areas, whatever they may be, can be very frustrating. For a lot of guys in particular love handles are a problem area where there is a lot of excess fat accumulation. While you can't spot reduce, rest assured that if you plug away and continue to lose weight and get leaner, they will eventually get smaller and finally disapppear. For the longest time I was losing weight and my handles seemed to just stay there. Now they are more or less finally gone. It took until my bodyfat got quite low for me to really notice the difference.

Like colgin said, if u just work hard at it and follow a good diet it is 100% possible. Just be serious about it and never give up, it takes time.
A little tip, the bigger/wider ur shoulders get, the thinner ur waist looks, making ur love handles look smaller.

Cardio is definetly a good solution for weight loss. Also toning your obliques can make you look "tighter" or better said, "slimmer." Some good ways to do this is by holding weights in both hands and leaning from side to side..but using your obligues to pull you back back up. Also try using the back extension machine except go on your side instead of your stomache and go up and down...make sure to keep your back aligned when you come back up. I hope these make sense for you... Goodluck :)
