What is the fastest way to lose a gut (beer belly). I'm stating the mass plan but I have a gut I want to lose first.

You do need cardio, but remember that muscles make you more efficient even sitting still. If you put on muscle mass, your revved-up metabolism will help take care of your tummy.

-------------- To change it, or to create it, simply train it!

Diet, weight training and cardio.....
No magical solutions there.
And PATIENCE!!!! (you didn't get your tummy fat in one day, did you?!!
Good luck!

Some people don't really change their workout style to go from fat loss to mass building - all they adjust is their diet. Plenty, if not all, people will see results that way. The workout you're using isn't the major factor here. Your diet will ultimately dictate how much fat you lose around that gut. Don't expect to be able to gain mass and lose fat at the same time, though. It is possible, but your progress in both directions is slower like that.

I lost my gut by dieting, cardio, and situps .. daily. Not easy, but well worth the results!
