You lose weight by creating a caloric deficit. Weight loss just as muscle gain is rarely a linear process, that is you will more than likely not see a set amount each week. But you can average that in the long run. It is all about diet, no magic pills, etc. out there. You must be willing to make some sacrifices, not just for a week or two, but for the long haul. Total life change is in order. This does not mean you have to eat lettuce the rest of your life, there are tons of good tasting foods out there you can do.
