Loosing muscle or loosing fat?

Each time after I lift weights (except for leg days) I run a mile. Before I go to the gym and do this I drink a protein shake and when I get home I drink another protein shake. By doing this am I loosing muscle or the fat I wont to loose?

I want to hear some opinions.

You are probably burning fat - for more in-depth information see bbfit's sticky post on cardio, it answers part of your question.

Are your clothes fittning differently, but the scale is staying the same or going up (adding muscle)?

Or are you losing pounds, but not seeing more muscle definition (losing muscle)?

Clothes fill the same, but I also lose 10 pounds in the last 3-4 months. Mostly because I started eating right.

I have been seeing more definition. I read his post, thanks for the advice.
