I don't know if I will be able to explain myself properly, but I am facing a dilemna....I am lifting 4 days a week, and doing HIIT 3 days a week, with some moderate cardio 1 to 2 evenings a week. I am trying to lose stubborn belly fat - and have been keeping my calories within the reccomendations given here.

There are some days that my metabolism is so stoked I cannot get enough to eat - I love it - I know this is all good.

What I am wondering though because I am trying to lose fat - should I fight the hunger and force my body to burn stored fat or should I keep fueling my metabolism by eating because I am hungry?
At this point I am choosing to eat to keep my metabolism up....any opinions?

Between 1700 on a low day and 2100 on a high day. Usually right around 1800 - 1900 most days.

Keep in mind as most people don't understand that your body maybe telling you it's thirsty and you mistake this for hunger.

The more active you are the more thirst you'll have.

So don't mistake thirst for hunger as they can feel the same.

A good test is to have a glass or 2 of water and if you ok after that you know it was thirst but if it continues it may be hunger.

I get this even after a large meal and all it is is thirst because I have just fed my body allot!

Thanks SF - I do drink alot, but maybe just remembering to fill up on water so I will really know if I am hungry or not is a great idea. I just don't want to slow my metabolism down.
I have started to shift my calories around throughout the day (just over the past couple of days) I seem to be very hungry during the mornings - so I am consuming more calories then (I work out first thing in the morning) and then I am eating less for dinner.
My thought behind this it that I am still eating enough calories on a daily basis - but eating more when I am more active, and then less as my day goes on and my activity level decreases...
This was something I wanted to incorporate eventually - lighter dinners, more to eat in the morning - but my appetite took over and did it for me! Yeah, one less thing that I have to have to work on changing....
