is it enough to only lift each muscle group once a week? it doesnt seem like enough, when i first started lifting i thought that three times a week was about right, or atleast twice, but this site has instructed for me to only do it once.
if your intensity is good, hitting each group once a week is okay. You actually hit them a couple times because they are al connected and work together.

I also had to get out of the mindset that more wa better. When I first began to lift I trained on an upper/lower body split. Then I got away from that and now train one body part per week. Like asimmer said, just make sure you are training with enough intensity, remember, this will be the only opportunity to specifically train that muscle group, make it count. Good luck
