i have these really tight, painful knots in my back and i was wondering what i can do to loosen them and prevent them from happening in the first place. I know they mostly come from stress and sleeping weird, but they give me headaches really bad and are extremely painful. Everytime i massage them they feel better but don't go away.
Yes, you said it yourself, massage and heat is the solution. AND of course you can try to prevent them from happening by relaxing, stretching and NOT contracting your shoulders and neck every time you are cold, stressed etc........
