I've been doing a lot of leg work the past month or so. And about 3 weeks ago I began a running program doing intervals of running and walking. At first my left ankle really hurt, so I began doing stretches with it all the time. The pain subsided, but still does hurt a little when I run.

Well today, my knee started really killing me. I tried to work through it, but couldn't and switched to an elliptical machine for the rest of my workout. Now I'm limping just a bit. Any advice on what I can do? Or do I need to see a doctor?

I had a similar problem. I ended up going to the doctor and found out that my kneecap had shifted and now I require knee surgery. Hope that helps.

Make sure you have a quality pair of running shoes that are suited to your running style !!! It can make a huge difference! I'd also see a Dr. just to make sure you haven't a more serious injury.
