Then do lots of pliometrical weight training. First find a tall step and jump on it with the feet together. Gradually build up the step (higher!) and you'll be able to jump higher and higher (always with the feet together!!!) Also do jumping squats. Don't take heavy (and be careful with your joints!!) Finally, work the sprints when being out on the field.
