Will this training regime help me loose weight and gain fitness to play sports, alongside dieting i am fast paced jogging about 1.2 kms 3 times a week and one full body workout gym session. the jog takes me about 10-15 minutes to complete and im completely stuffed after. I started off doing sprints but i got bored of them and also thought that the jog would do me more good,

Not real clear on your goals, but I would increase your full body routine to two or three times a week. I would get rid of the jogging and try HIIT (use search at bottom of page). Welcome to FT and please fill out your profile.

I wouldn't necesasrily START out doing HIIT. I'd maybe jog 3 times a week for a couple weeks, then add in one HIIT session. Also, HIIT vs. steady state will depend on your goals, what sports you are playing, etc, though HIIT generally offers more.
