Is this a good ab workout?

Hey people! I want to increase ab definition and looking at a Matt Roberts book - he recommends this selection as a good abs workout:

Regular situp: 40 reps
Reverse curl: 30 reps
Oblique crunch: 30 reps per side
Full crunch: 40 reps
Reverse curl crunch: 30 reps
Oblique knee pull: 20 reps per side

What do people think?

All those are fine, but you do need to add resistance if you are after that coveted "six pack". Simply doing crunches till you are blue in the face will not do much more than burn calories.
