I was doing some dumbell incline presses yesterday and I noticed after the 7th rep that that my arms were shaking. I didn't continue to do an 8th rep. Is the shaking anything bad? What was it?

Yes, sort of. The lightest dumbells that the gym has is about 2.5 kg about 10+ pounds. I was using the 2.5 kg for my tricep exercises. I've just started to workout again after several years.

My legs still shake a little when I do heavy squats, but not bad. If you're just starting out, this is normal. You're doing things that your body isn't used to. The shaking will go away in just a short time. Nothing to worry about at all.

the shaking might be a sign that your pretty close to reaching failure for that muscle...

tt_rocker, that's a good sign right. I've noticed soreness for a couple of days.

its just overtraining a muscle not used before or for a long time. muscle tremors are very common. dont bump up the weight until it stops
p.s. that is all
