ok..so ive confused myself..ive read from multiple sites and get conflicting information..

so..is INSTANT brown rice low or high GI?

from what im reading when its INSTANT it goes up in the GI...but the package says its pre-cooked parboiled brown rice which would technically keep it on the low GI end...arggh!!..help?

p.s..i know i should just get out my steamer and steam it..but im lazy...*sigh*

Do not worry so much about GI. An overrated index, unless you are diabetic, not really worth worrying about. If you notice, for instance, M&M's have a lower GI than some beans. Makes one kind of scratch their heads. :)
